New expansions typically bring new races to World of Warcraft, and Midnight is going to be no different. This time we’ll be able to play as the Haranir, a mysterious people who live in the upcoming Harandar zone. We’ve encountered some members of this reclusive race already in the Azj-Kahet zone of The War Within, but it seems they will play a bigger role in Midnight.

The new Allied Race will be unlockable for both factions and can choose from the following classes:

  • Druid
  • Hunter
  • Mage
  • Monk
  • Priest
  • Rogue
  • Shaman
  • Warlock
  • Warrior

In the Gameplay Reveal Trailer, you can see a Haranir Hunter and a Haranir Druid, including one of the unique Druid forms for the race.
